On March 12-13 2025 the Clusters4Health kick-off meeting took place in Iași, North-East Romania.
The project is fostering collaboration between European and Ukrainian health clusters to drive innovation and strengthen Ukraine’s healthcare sector. This initiative promotes knowledge transfer, technological advancement, and economic resilience.
The European-Ukrainian Clusters Acceleration Lab will connect healthcare ecosystems, mentor startups, and drive innovation. Additionally, the Joint Europe-Ukraine Roadmap will align stakeholders for sustainable healthcare development.
The EU-Ukraine Partnership of clusters Clusters4Health, comprising a strong consortium formed by 6 European clusters, 1 Ukrainian cluster and 1 NGO acting on behalf of RIMC Ukrainian cluster, is aiming to support the business collaboration between the EU, Ukraine and beyond as the consortium has an Norwegian partner, fostering regional economic growth, development, and stronger ties between economic actors and communitiesin the healthcare sector.
The 24-month project is designing a complex and interlinked set of 6 work packages dedicated to supporting the recovery of the medical ecosystem from Ukraine, which has been heavily affected by the current war situation.
With a busy 2-day agenda, focused on presenting each working package and outlining the key objectives for the near future, the conversations aim to align strategies, and ensure effective implementation of the project’s milestones.
Clusters4Health represents a landmark step towards European-Ukrainian cooperation in the healthcare sector. It is set to make a lasting impact on healthcare resilience and growth.
