This year was important for us, as we have kickstarted the Medic Nest Project and for this, we would like to thank each and every consortium partner for their professional input, accuracy and openness: Imago-Mol Cluster – our lead partner in Romania, Medvia – in Belgium, Hellenic BioCluster – in Greece and Biotecyl – in Spain.
We are grateful and honoured to have worked with each of you, as our partners and collaborators, in the past year and we hope to further develop and enhance our collaboration in the upcoming year, in the hopes of it being a great and productive New Year 2023, with many milestones and landmark events to achieve!

MEDIC NEST online WEBINAR with the founding members

The webinar took place on December 15th, 2022 and it was a great opportunity for the founding members of Medic Nest (Imago-Mol Cluster, Medvia, Hellenic BioCluster, Biotecyl), the European alliance of health-tech clusters, to introduce themselves to all their members and learn more about each other’s work and the 2023 planned ClusterXchange events throughout next year.

Castilla y León Precision Medicine Conference, November 2022

Our consortium partner Leon Research, representing the Castilla y León Health Cluster – Biotecyl, organised the Precision Medicine Conference, which took place on November 10th 2022, at Leon Technology Park, Castilla Y Leon, Spain and where Alfonso Garcia Canamaque – CEO of Leon Research, took on the role as a high level speaker.
León Research is a Leonese company, member in the Medic Nest consortium in Precision Medicine, on behalf of BIOTECYL cluster.
The MEDIC NEST project was presented by our partners during the conference, to a high-affinity audience on precision medicine.

The MEDIC NEST project presented at the SUSTAINABILITY FORUM, October 19th 2022, Iași Romania

The MEDIC NEST project has been presented in the SUSTAINABILITY FORUM, in the Best Practice Exchange section, from the perspective of its contribution to achieving the goal of sustainable health development.
The SUSTAINABILITY FORUM took place in October 2022, in Iași, Romania. It was an international event aiming to strengthen cooperation between the countries of South-Eastern Europe and the Danube region, in order to facilitate commercial contacts in the economic fields that support sustainable development.
The Imago-Mol Cluster has co-organized this European event, that targets health and well-being, the third objective of the Sustainable Development Strategy.
As the event’s main partner, Imago-Mol Cluster presented on the first day, in the section dedicated to good practices, the MEDIC NEST project from the perspective of the contribution it brings to achieving the objective of sustainable health development by promoting digital technologies for the new precision medicine ecosystems.
Also, on the second day of the forum, took place a workshop within the MEDIC NEST project dedicated to the strategic analysis of the innovation potential of the cross-sectoral field: life sciences – ICT in the European value chain of precision medicine.
