Synopsis:
IBBTEC’s goal is cutting-edge research towards the advance of scientific knowledge and the development of new technologies in life sciences. Its research is currently focused on fundamental aspects of molecular and cellular biology and microbiology, related to animal and human health, and on the development of biotechnological applications to tackle present and future environmental, agricultural, nutritional and health challenges. Our areas of expertise are: developmental and structural biology, cancer research, immunology, microbiology, genomics and neuropharmacology.
